New Tesla Supercharger under construction in Lebourgneuf [Quebec]

A new Supercharger was discovered under construction at an IGA extra supermarket in Lebourgneuf (5555 Blvd des Gradins).

A photo posted by a member of the Model 3 Quebec Facebook group show the parking lot going through some repairs and a trench being dug. It was later confirmed by the VP and cofounder of Club Tesla Quebec that a Supercharging station was in the works at this very location.

It was not said whether the construction shown in the photo was for the Supercharger or not. The VP stated that it would be installed near the new IGA-branded fast chargers that have been operational for the past few months.

It looks like this Supercharger will be another as part of the IGA-Tesla partnership, which has seen a handful of new locations under construction in Quebec, including Boisbriand, Vaudreuil, Lachenaie and Les Saules (the latter has not been confirmed yet, but it is the suspected location).

The Lévis Supercharger has been suffering from some electrical problems lately, and Tesla has had to close the location while also trying to fix it. Once completed, local owners will no longer need to cross the St-Lawrence river to charge their vehicles.

The pin in red is Lévis and the pin in black is Lebourgneuf (the location is inaccurate). The opening is planned in the 4th quarter, per Tesla.
