Municipality of Central Huron approves plans for Goderich Supercharger [Ontario]

According to Tesla’s map, a new Supercharger is set to open in Goderich in the 2nd quarter of 2022.

While Tesla is unlikely to achieve their target, at least we know they have started planning the new station.

Two weeks ago, Tesla appeared before the Municipality of Central Huron to present plans for an 8-stall Supercharger at the Canadian Tire on Huron Rd.

Tesla was seeking a zoning variance from the municipality in order to install the charging stations on the property. The variance was a minor amendment to an agreement between Canadian Tire and the municipality signed in 2021.

The development was approved by council, which means Tesla can now move forward with the project.
