Crews prepare to begin construction of the Creston Tesla Supercharger [British Columbia]

Another Tesla Supercharger along Hwy 3 in British Columbia appears ready to begin construction, this time in Creston.

The Creston Supercharger will be located at the Creston Ramada (1 1809 BC-3A), a location that was first revealed by Natural Resources Canada earlier this year.

It seems crews are preparing to begin construction there any day now. As spotted by user edman_2222 on TMC, a SparkPower trailer is now set up in the Ricky’s all day Grill parking lot, right next to the Ramada.

While there is no evidence of any Supercharger equipment on site, the conduit laying on the ground and the fact SparkPower is one of the contractors Tesla has used for other Superchargers in the province is a clear sign this is a Supercharger and construction is about to begin.

This will be the third Supercharger along the Crowsnest Highway along the southern part of BC. The first station along the route opened late last year in Princeton.

Another one in Osoyoos has completed construction, but is still waiting to be turned on.
