FSD Beta Canada available with a Twist

If you have been on Twitter in the past 160 days, you probably have seen the #FSDBetaCanada campaign, at least once. Since October 23, 2020 @MFrunker has been spamming the social platform with daily memes and jokes. We even keep track of all of these Tweets on the Tesla FSD Beta Canada Support Group.

Elon Musk Teases Us

Canadians have been teased that the FSD Beta would be coming to Canada on multiple occasions. The first instance was on November 26th when Elon mentioned that we could see it released in December.

December came and went with no FSD Beta Canada. There was a Chinese New Year software update but nothing for the Canucks.

Mother Frunker continued to keep the campaign going, becoming more toxic each day. Since then, Elon Musk has teased that it is “coming soon” twice.

A few weeks prior, an inside source did tell the Campaign Manager it was “launching in Canada Soon“. No one took this Tweet seriously until a week later when Elon himself confirmed it.

Andrej Karpathy Enters

It was day 155 in the #FSDBetaCanada universe. As usual, the daily Tweets for the campaign continued. It was this day when Tesla’s Director of AI Andrej Karpathy gave new hope to FSD Beta arriving in Canada soon.

For the first time in 155 days, the #FSDBetaCanada campaign was recognized by someone at Tesla. Needless to say this was an exciting day. There was hope. There was a chance.

#FSDBetaCanada is here!

Leave it to Elon to send out the FSD Beta to Canadians on April 1st. At this point, it would only make sense just for the memes.

The Beta that is available to Canadians however is different the one we have seen our friends down south. They were sent an email and then had the update pushed to their cars.

Here in Canada, you need to push the update to your car using an Easter Egg. In your Tesla go to settings and click the “Advanced” update toggle 420 times. This will make your car instantly reboot with the Beta. You need to be fast though. The Beta is limited to 69 total people.
