Volkswagen has released some more details and images of the ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo ahead of its official unveiling on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Developed from the “legendary cult-status Microbus”, the ID. Buzz will be available in seven single colour options and four two-tone colour schemes. Those colours can be optionally carried through to the interior and reflected in the seat cushions, dash panel and door trim.
The interior will also have optional background lighting to provides “atmospheric accents” with up to 30 different colours available.
Other features will be less obvious, like a bottle opener and ice scraper that might not be discovered at first glance.
Like its predecessor, the ID. Buzz will come with plenty of cargo space, enough for 1,121 litres of luggage even with all passengers on board.
The ID. Buzz Cargo ID. is equipped with a partition behind the first row of seats, is also no slough in the cargo space department with more than 3.9 m3 of storage.
