UK buyers to enjoy 0% APR financing on Tesla Model 3 and Model Y

Tesla is promoting a new financing scheme to attract buyers in the UK. The company is offering 0% APR for the Model 3 and Model Y, including Hire Purchases (HP) and Personal Contract Purchases (PCP).

Tesla buyers in the UK will be pleased with the company’s updated ordering page. They can now purchase Model 3 and Model Y with 0% APR, which means considerable savings in their monthly payments.

With the new financing program, Model 3 Highland PCP buyers could pay only £262 every month for 48 months for the Rear-Wheel-Drive version. However, there is a £11,600 down payment to consider. The deal is also available on the Long Range and Performance versions.

Tesla has capped annual mileage at 10,000 miles, and customers can choose part-exchanging, returning the car, or paying the balance to own the car.

Customers will pay only £307 per month for the Tesla Model Y after a similar deposit payment. The electric SUV has the same mileage cap and choices at the end of the four years.

Per a marketing email from Tesla UK, “Making Model 3 and Model Y more accessible, now available for 0% interest rate — Go ahead, take the road trip in Model 3 or Model Y this summer. With versatile cargo space, and up to 390 miles (WLTP) of range on a single charge, chances are you’ll need a break before your vehicle will.”

The promotion applies to new orders placed and delivered before the 30th of September.

Tesla has tried the 0% APR promotion in China, which has been extended to the end of July. Tesla also tried a low 0.99% interest offer in the US, but only for the Model Y.

However, there has yet to be a word on whether or when Tesla will bring the deal to Canada.
