The new Mercedes-Benz EQB arrives in North America in 2022. This is the third Mercedes-EQ model announced for Canada, joining the EQE and EQS sedans.

The standard model of the vehicle will include seating for five. However, the car will come with an option to add a third row of two seats.

The third row can collapse and provide users with additional luggage space.

The vehicle includes two electric motors and an all-wheel drive. According to the release, the 66.5 kWh battery on a DC fast charger to go from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes.

The new EQB 350 4MATIC will have 288 HP and a range of up to 419 kilometres, according to the WLTP rating schedule. The United States will enjoy a launch of two models of the EBQ.

The other model not launching in Canada is the EBQ 300 4MATIC which produces 225 HP.

Mercedes did not go into details on pricing or an exact launch window. However, many in the United States believe that the EQB will launch around the cost of the Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID 4 or Audi Q4 E-Tron. So expect a price tag in the low to mid $60k CAD mark.
