The Boring Company launches Burnt Hair cologne after Elon Musk tweet joke

Elon Musk has turned another joke into a real product, this time using The Boring Company to launch a new cologne called ‘Burnt Hair’.

Musk announced the new product on Twitter this afternoon, calling it the “finest fragrance on Earth!” The Boring Company website describes the scent as being ““Just like leaning over a candle at the dinner table, but without all the hard work.”

Burnt Hair costs $100 USD or $140 CAD. Ordering from Canada adds another $49 in shipping costs, bringing the total price to $189. If you prefer, you can also pay using Dogecoin, although that payment option is only available in the US.

According to the website, Burnt Hair won’t start shipping until Q1 2023, so if you were planning on giving this as a Christmas gift, you’re out of luck.

The new cologne is available for purchase exactly two weeks after Musk (pun intended) joked about launching a new scent for men that would help you “Stand out in a crowd!” and Get noticed as you walk through the airport!”
