Tesla is now selling the regular Model Y at the exact price as the Model Y Launch Series in China, which went on sale in January.
The new Model Y is available in rear-wheel-drive (RMB 263,500 yuan) and long-range all-wheel-drive (RMB 303,500 yuan) versions.
Clients who opted to purchase the Model Y Launch Series variant enjoyed a special sale price until February 28, 2025, and an additional two-year or 40,000 km extended warranty. This same warranty has not been carried over to the regular Model Y.
According to the Tesla China website, the estimated wait time for the rear-wheel-drive variant is between two and four weeks. Those opting for the all-wheel-drive option will wait between six and ten weeks.
Meanwhile, the Model 3 continues to be produced at a high level out of Giga Shanghai, with delivery wait times between one and three weeks for all three sedan variants.
In addition, Tesla China has extended its earlier offers of an RMB 8,000 yuan insurance subsidy and zero percent financing for five years on the rear-wheel-drive and long-range all-wheel-drive variants of the Model 3. However, the offer was not extended to the Model 3 Performance variant.
