Tesla opens third Langley Supercharger [British Columbia]

Tesla owners in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland now have another Supercharging option, as the company has opened a brand-new 16-stall V4 (V3.5) station in Langley.

The new station is located at the Riocan Langley Centre along the Langley Bypass, directly across the street from the existing V4 (V3.5) Supercharger that opened last year, and which was the first V4 station to open in Canada.

The 16 stalls at the new location are capable of delivering up to 325 kW to compatible vehicles, like the Cybertruck. Other will be capped at 250kW, or lower, depending on the vehicle. (We use the term V3.5 as the accompanying infrastructure is still the same as that found on V3 stations. Tesla is expected to launch V4 cabinets in the U.S. this quarter, which will unlock charging speeds up to 500kW.)

Like many other Superchargers across the Lower Mainland, charging fees are cheap at just $0.19/kWh, one of the lowest rates among Tesla’s Canadian Superchargers. Rates are even low for non-Tesla electric vehicle (EV) owners at just $0.25/kWh.

The Riocan Langley Centre location is ideal for drivers who want to grab a meal or run errands while charging. Popular restaurants such as Milestones, Montana’s BBQ & Bar, and Olive Garden are just a short walk away (although you may want to eat quickly), along with major retailers like Indigo, PetSmart, and Mastermind Toys.

This is just the third Supercharger station in Langley. The third is location north of Hwy 1 at 8750 204 St, where a 16-stall station opened in 2023.
