Tesla Launches New Workshops on FSD, Mobile App, and Touchscreen Basics Across North America

Tesla is rolling out a series of new workshops across Canada and the United States, offering both new and seasoned owners a chance to learn more about the features of their Tesla vehicles. The workshops, running during the month of November, are just 45-minutes long and aim to improve drivers’ understanding of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability, the Tesla mobile app, and the touchscreen interface.

For those interested in attending, Tesla has provided dedicated links to RSVP to each event, which appear to be running across Canada and the US on various dates in November.

Space is limited at each workshop, so if you are interested and one is available in your area, be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

Canadians can visit Tesla Events Canada, while those in the US can head to Tesla Events USA to find a nearby session.

Intro to FSD (Supervised)

FSD is a significant feature that differentiates Tesla from all other vehicles, enabling autonomous driving capabilities under your supervision. While the technology is amazing, it can also be very intimidating for owners. With this session Tesla is attempting to demystify FSD, breaking down how the system works, and explaining its current capabilities and limitations, along with safe ways to utilize the technology while staying fully engaged as a driver.

Intro to the Tesla Mobile App

For owners who want to stay connected to their Tesla wherever they go, the Intro to the Tesla Mobile App workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the app’s capabilities. Attendees will learn how to use the app to check battery levels, initiate charging, monitor vehicle location, and adjust climate controls remotely, along with other conveniences like unlocking the car from a distance or locating charging stations. Lesser-known features like scheduled charging and creating service requests will likely also be covered.

Intro to Touchscreen Basics

The Intro to Touchscreen Basics workshop rounds out the series, focusing on Tesla’s signature interior design element – the main touchscreen display. For many drivers transitioning from traditional vehicles, the Tesla touchscreen can initially seem complex and overwhelming, but this workshop simplifies it, providing insights into navigating key vehicle functions such as media, navigation, climate control, and customized driver profiles.
