Tesla invites employees to Giga Berlin Delivery Day: March 22, 2022

The day has finally arrived. Tesla has begun emailing employees inviting them to the grand opening Delivery Day at Giga Berlin-Brandenburg.

According to a copy of the email shared by Tesla enthusiast Sawyer Merritt, the event will take place as rumoured on March 22, 2022, starting at 3:00pm local time (9:00am EST/6:00am PST).

According to previous reports, local official and Tesla CEO Elon Musk himself will be in attendance to hand over the first 30 made-in-Germany Model Y Performance SUVs to new owners.

In another piece of the puzzle, those customers were asked just yesterday to complete their orders and finalize payments.

This will be a huge day not only for Tesla and their shareholders, but also the thousands of employees who have worked tirelessly over the last few years to get Giga Berlin built, approved, and up and running.

Tesla has already received environmental approval, but must still meet more than 400 additional requirements before production can officially begin.
