Tesla has released a teaser video on its official X handle for Europe and the Middle East. The post has raised speculations among the company’s fans.
The 10-second clip shows a spoiler on the rear of an unidentified red model. The graphics suggest the highlight of the car is the aerodynamics.
The video caption simply says “Spoiler alert,” and could naturally be taken as a clever play on double meanings. It clearly references the rear wing of a vehicle while suggesting a reveal is coming soon.

The teaser ends with a date: 29/08/2025, meaning barring a last-minute leak, we are hours away from deciphering Tesla’s little cryptic message.
Meanwhile, the internet is not content to wait for Tesla to play its hand. There have been speculations that the automaker is getting ready to reveal a Performance version of the refreshed Model Y, which became available this year. The rear wing is one of the few features that distinguish the Performance trim from the rest.
The teaser, however, could also refer to the Model Y L launch in Europe, given its more prominent lip spoiler. Tesla recently launched the 6-seat variant in China, offering more cabin space thanks to the extended chassis.
While the video may give European buyers something to look forward to, CEO Elon Musk has stated that the new model will enter production in the US only late in 2026. He added that the North American debut might never happen because of Robotaxi.
