Tesla has had another strong month of sales in China in February, giving the automaker over 116,000 in the first two months of the year alone.
According to the latest figures from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Tesla sold 56,515 cars made at Giga Shanghai last month.
Of those, 23,200 were domestic sales within China, while 33,315 were exported to other markets around the world.
Making the numbers even more impressive, February was a shortened month not only because it had 28 days, but there were also Chinese New Year Holidays between January 31 and February 6.

After posting nearly 60,000 sales in January, Tesla has already accumulated 116,360 sales from Giga Shanghai in 2022.
If they are able to continue that pace over the next 10 months, Giga Shanghai will deliver nearly 700,000 cars this year.
Last year Giga Shanghai accounted for almost 500,000 of the Tesla’s 936,000 sales.
