Porsche Taycan parking fail caught on neighbour’s security camera

The whole incident takes less than 5 seconds, but it is probably the most painful 5 seconds of this new Porsche Taycan owners life.

The all-electric Taycan is well known for its quick acceleration, able to reach 60mph in under 3 seconds. That lightning fast speed could have been behind the cause of this incident that was caught on a neighbours security camera in Manningtree, Essex.

On what looks like any other morning, we see a silver Porsche Taycan pull into a steep, crooked driveway. According to a report by The Mirror, the driver was visiting a resident of one of the houses, where it comes to a brief stop in the sloped driveway.

That’s when things start going sideways, literally. Before the driver realizes what’s happening, the Taycan hurtles towards a parked SUV. It then bounces off the parked car, heading straight towards about a 5ft wall, colliding with a parked car below and eventually ending up wedged between the wall and the car.

“I heard it happen, it was a loud crashing noise. He was pretty shaken up. He had a few bumps and bruises, but he was ok. He seemed like a really nice, genuine guy and he’d just smashed up his new Porsche,” a neighbour was reported as saying.
