Tesla will be adding to the Supercharger count in Los Angeles in a big way with the installation of a new 44-stall V3 Supercharger later this year.
Located at 8985 W Venice Boulevard, the 44-stall Supercharger will become the third largest station, and second largest V3 station in the world. Only Shanghai, China with their 72 stall V2 Supercharger and Firebaugh, California with their 56-stall V3 Supercharger are larger.

In looking at a map of the location, the street level parking lot of the Venice Crossroads shopping center appears quite small. There is some additional rooftop parking, making it a likely candidate for the location of the new Supercharger station.
Earlier this week this would have been the fourth largest Supercharger station, and would have been just down the road from the second largest in Santa Monica. That was until Santa Monica city council decided to put a halt to the project, potentially indefinitely.
