Lucid Motors is in full promotional mode as of the official unveiling of their first electric vehicle, the Air, is scheduled for next week.
Leading up to the event the automaker has released several pieces of information about the Air, like its record-setting drag coefficient and potentially record-setting range of over 800km they squeezed out of a 113kWh battery.
If you follow us on Twitter, you also would have seen a sneak peak at the first 1/4 mile tests of the Air going up against a Tesla Model S.

Now Lucid Motors have released another short promotional video on its Twitter account, hinting the Air may have achieved a sub-11 second 1/4 mile time.

While the video doesn’t show much, it does show a clock ticking down, with the final frames showing a time of 10.48 seconds. The clock appears to continue counting down as it fades away, indicating the official time set by the electric sedan could be very close to equaling or beating the record of 10.452 seconds set earlier this year by a Model S with Cheetah stance.
We will have to wait until next week to find out the official results, but until then, do you think the Lucid Air will beat the record set by the Model S? Let us know in the comments below.
