Mark your calendar as Kia is set to host a one-day event next week where it will reveal the vehicles that will make up its next EV line-up. The EV Day event will take place in Yeoju, Korea, on the 12th of October.
The South Korean automaker will present a posse of EVs, including three small and medium-sized battery-powered cars. Kia says the event will be repeated on an annual basis and be used to showcase its concepts and technologies.
Attendees will see Kia’s complete EV line-up, including the Kia EV5, EV6 GT, and EV9, which was recently overbooked in Canada. In addition to providing more details about the EV5, two new concepts will debut at the show.
Kia will feature multiple keynote speakers who will talk about the company’s transition to an EV maker and provide new product insights and other company updates.
The image hyping the event contains five cars, three of which are the EV6 GT, EV5, and EV9. However, the remaining two remain a mystery, with no clue to identify them. There are speculations that one of them might be the yet-to-be-released subcompact EV3.
The other unknown EV might be a crossover coupe or sedan.
Kia aims to sell 1.2 million EVs per year by 2030.
