Just one month before they are scheduled to arrive in showrooms in Canada, Hyundai has announced pricing for the 2022 IONIQ 5 electric crossover.
The IONIQ 5 will be available in five different trim options, and pricing will be extremely competitive.
Starting with the base ‘Essential’ variant, which comes with 354km (219 miles) of range, pricing is as low as $44,999 CAD.
There will also be a Preferred variant with the same 354km range ($46,999), Preferred Long Range with 480km of range ($51,999), Preferred AWD Long Range with 415km of range ($54,999), and Preferred AWD Long Range with Ultimate Package with 400km of range ($59,999).
Since the base model is priced under $45K, that means all models except the top-of-the-line variant should qualify for the $5,000 iZEV federal rebate.
Hyundai Canada says the first cars will be arriving in December, and will be distributed across the country to the more than 2,000 customers who have placed a pre-order.
