Fisker Ocean SUV deliveries in the US begin this month with 360 mile range

Fisker has announced that it will begin delivering its long awaited Ocean SUV to customers in the US this month. At the same time the automaker announced the electric SUV has received its official Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) range rating.

According to Fisker the Ocean Extreme model now has estimated range of 360 miles (579km) on a full charge, as certified by the EPA. This range exceeds Fisker’s previous estimates and makes it the longest range SUV in the North American market.

Along with its EPA range rating, the Fisker Ocean Extreme also obtained an EPA Certificate of Conformity and a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order, allowing the automaker to sell and deliver across all 50 states in the US. With the required documents in hand Fisker is aiming to deliver the first Ocean Extreme SUVs to customers during the week of June 19, 2023.

The automaker kicked off deliveries of the Ocean last month in Europe, with one of those first units going to CEO Henrik Fisker himself.

“We are super excited to start getting Fisker Ocean SUVs into customer hands. Our US customers have been exceptionally patient as we have moved through the regulatory process, but we are now ready to enter the next phase of the company’s history,” said CEO Henrik Fisker.
