The Fremont Fire Department are currently battling a 2-alarm fire at Tesla’s Fremont factory.
According to a statement by the fire department, “the fire is outside and mainly comprised of packing materials (cardboard pallets).”
The Milpitas Fire Department has also been called in to assist with the fire.
No injuries have been reported so far.
Based on the footage, it appears the fire is location at the south end of the factory, very close to the Solar Roof test area.
This the second fire in less than a year at the Fremont factory. There was a small fire involving one of the Giga Press machines in March of last year.
