Elon Musk says a ’98’ Safety Score might be good enough to download FSD Beta in Canada

Elon Musk has finally confirmed how long Canadian Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta hopefuls will have to wait, and what Safety Score will be required to download the software.

When Tesla rolled out the button in the US, owners had to wait 7 days. According to Musk, Canadians will also have to wait 7 days, meaning the first potential FSD Beta downloads in Canada should come this weekend.

However, unlike the US expansion which required a perfect 100 Safety Score, Musk says a 98 score will probably be good enough.

If you’re still trying to get the minimum 160km for a 100 (or 98) score, be sure to read our tips to give you the best chance of downloading FSD Beta this weekend.
