Elon Musk is taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the ultra-exclusive Allen & Co. Sun Valley Conference this weekend. Not only will Musk be in attendance, he is also expected to give the marquee address at the event.
According to a report by Bloomberg, Musk is scheduled to arrive in Sun Valley, Idaho some time today, and will take to the stage on the final day of the conference on Saturday. What exactly he will speak about is still unknown, but given Musk’s tendency to speak off the cuff, he probably won’t know either until he steps up on stage.
One topic that is likely to come up is his pending $44 billion buyout of Twitter. Musk has been fairly quiet about the deal as of late after having questioned the number of fake or spam accounts on the social media platform.
The conversation could turn interesting as Twitter’s current CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal have already been spotted arriving at the conference.
Other executives, billionaires, and investment moguls expected to be in attendance include GM CEO Mary Barra, Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, Warren Buffet, soon to be former Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, and many more.
