Construction of new Tesla showroom in Israel nears completion

Tesla’s expansion into Israel is close to taking another step forward as construction of its new headquarters and showroom nears completion.

When complete the new building will house the automaker’s offices, showroom and Service Center. It is located in a commercial area just outside Tel Aviv, in close proximity to other automakers like BMW.

Tesla originally intended to lease a former Ferrari showroom in Tel Aviv, but switched to this more suburban address in the fall of 2020. The location at 32 Efal Street in Petah Tikva provides more convenient access to potential customers.

Earlier this month Tesla obtained a commercial import license in Israel. The new license allows Tesla to import as many cars as they need to into the country. It also marked the first time such a license was awarded directly to a car manufacturer.

Work at the site has progressed quickly since then, with the company’s logo now appearing on the roof of the building. Construction is expected to be complete in a matter of weeks.
