Tesla is continuing to fine tune their production line processes at Giga Texas ahead of receiving their final certifications.
The number of newly built Model Ys parked outside the factory more than doubled over the weekend, with more than 200 now sitting in a holding lot at the south end of the factory.
Drone operator Jeff Roberts (@peterdog15) captured 227 Model Ys on Sunday, up from around 50 that have been parked there for the last few weeks.

Then on a chilly Monday morning, another member of the Giga Texas quad squad, Joe Tegtmeyer (@JoeTegtmeyer), captured more cars exiting the factory to join the party.
We can see that Tesla has now removed almost all of the car covers, with less than 10 still being kept under wraps.
Interestingly, none of the of the cars are white, and all of them appear to be Long Range variants with the 19″ Gemini wheels.
Last week the first known Giga Texas VIN was assigned to a white Model Y Performance reservation holder. According to his account, he is scheduled to take delivery between March 1 and March 29.
You can watch the full drone flyover from Sunday below. Tegtmeyer’s video will be uploaded later today.
