The popularity of the Tesla Model 3 continues to grow around the world as the latest data out of Hong Kong shows it was the number one selling car in August.
According to data from the Hong Kong Transportation Department, a total of 912 Tesla vehicles were registered during August 2020, reports Tesmanian.
That puts it as the #1 selling car brand in the country.
Not only that, the Tesla Model 3 was the #1 selling passenger car in August, EV or otherwise.

Those numbers could be increasing even more in the near future as Tesla will reportedly begin importing the made-in-China Model 3’s from Giga Shanghai into the country.
Manufacturing of the cars intended for export is expected to begin in Q4 2020.
