First 2021 Performance Tesla Model 3’s delivered to owners

After several weeks of deliveries of the Standard Range Plus (SR+) Tesla Model 3’s, the first refreshed Performance variants are now being handed over to their lucky new owners in both the US and Europe.

One of the first deliveries in the US happened in Los Angeles, California on Saturday. A white Performance Model 3 with the brand new Überturbine wheels was delivered to t518 of the TMC forums.

Separately half way across the world one of the first refreshed Performance Model 3’s was delivered in Vienna, Austria to Thyrus, who posted these images to the ttf-forum.

Since the weather is a little different in Vienna compared to Austria this time of year, the new owner took delivery with winter wheels installed and the Überturbines in the trunk.

Interestingly, this Model 3 was delivered with software version 2020.44.10.1 already installed. When Drive Tesla had an up close look at one of the first refreshed Model 3’s delivered in Canada, it was loaded with 2020.35.202.1, a unique numbering system used for cars straight from the factory.

Also a noteworthy difference between the two Model 3’s is the European version has the new and improved headlights.

The first Performance and Long Range Model 3’s will begin deliveries in Canada this week. The earliest we have received information on is a Performance variant scheduled to be delivered in Vancouver on December 3, 2020.
