New Brunswick has its seventh Supercharger after crews finally turned on the new station in Miramichi.
Construction of the Miramichi Supercharger began all the way back in October 2023. Located in the parking lot in front of Canadian Tire at the Bridgeview Plaza (2491 King George Highway), the new station was a welcomed addition for New Brunsiwck Tesla owners as it was the first new Supercharger to built in the province in over four years.
As it turned out they would need to wait a long time for it to be turned on. On Wednesday we shared on X (formerly Twitter) that crews were testing the charging posts after the final pieces were installed by NB Power after a lengthy delay, and now the station has been energized and is open to Tesla and non-Tesla EV owners.
According to the mobile app, plugging in at one of the six V3 stalls the Miramichi Supercharger will cost Tesla owners $0.60/kWh, while non-Tesla owners with a NACS adapter will be billed $0.81/kWh.
Currently there are no other Supercharger planned for New Brunswick, according to Tesla’s map.
