Elon Musk’s The Boring Company (TBC) continues to work on the Vegas Loop. A Redditor has shared the plans the company submitted for the Westgate end of the underground Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) loop.
Redditor p12a12 revealed documents containing the plans TBC. The LVCC West Station will move passengers to the South and Central Halls.
The Rivera Station will link to the Vegas Loop, even though it currently connects to the Resorts World Station.
As p12a12 points out, “The connection to the Westgate (the tunnel on the right of the image) looks like it will be entirely under the surface. The tunnel connecting this station to LVCC West (the tunnel on the bottom of the image) will pop up to the surface to join the existing station.”
They added, “There also looks to be a bypass tunnel that will allow cars from LVCC West to stay underground and skip this station as they continue to Resorts World.”
From documents revealed by p12a1, TBC is digging the resort corridor and is set to deliver in time. This new section of the Vegas Loop might open to the public next year.
TBC is chasing another tunneling project in Texas. It is ready to invest up to $60 million to get approval.
