Tesla has expanded its Supercharger Site Maps feature beyond its in-car navigation, with the feature now available in the mobile app.
The new functionality is included in Tesla app version 4.61.0 and makes it easier for owners to check charging station layouts and live stall availability before arriving at a location.
Accessing Site Maps in the app is simple. Owners can open the charging map and zoom in on a supported Supercharger location. As you get closer, the standard map automatically transitions into a detailed Site Map, showing the layout of the station and individual charging stalls.
The maps display real-time availability, allowing drivers to see which chargers are occupied, available, or out of service without having to be inside their vehicle.

Tesla has also improved the accuracy of its availability information to account for non-Tesla EVs using the network. Vehicles with charge ports in different locations can sometimes block adjacent stalls when using Tesla’s shorter charging cables. Site Maps account for these situations to provide a more accurate picture of which chargers are actually usable.
The addition of Site Maps to the mobile app means owners of older Tesla vehicles equipped with Intel-based infotainment systems can now access the feature. Previously, the Site Maps were limited to newer vehicles with AMD Ryzen processors, leaving many longtime Tesla owners without access.
Tesla first introduced Site Maps as part of its 2025 holiday software update, initially launching at just 18 locations. The feature has since expanded to thousands of sites, with hundreds being added weekly. Supercharger Site Maps arrived in Canada in May.
