Tesla Superchargers in Grand Prairie and London Now Open [Alberta & Ontario]

Tesla has officially switched on two new Supercharger locations in Canada, bringing fast-charging access to Grand Prairie, Alberta and London, Ontario.

First Supercharger in Grand Prairie

Located at 10819 106 Avenue in Grand Prairie, the new site features four V4 Superchargers capable of delivering up to 325 kW. Positioned near Highway 43, the station sits in a strategic corridor connecting Valleyview and Whitecourt to northern destinations such as Fort McMurray, Jasper, and British Columbia.

Construction began earlier this summer in July using Tesla’s prefabricated Supercharger units (PSUs). These modules, which arrive pre-assembled with up to four stalls, can be craned into place and readied in days rather than weeks, leading to the fast timeline for this project.

Drivers can access the Grand Prairie chargers around the clock, with rates set at CA$0.60/kWh for Tesla owners and CA$0.84/kWh for non-Tesla EVs

The new Alberta station supports Tesla’s goal of deploying 56 new stalls across the province in 2025.

London Gets a 20-Stall Supercharger

On the other side of the country, Tesla has opened a 20-stall Supercharger at 3075 Wonderland Road South in London, Ontario. The location is part of the Westwood Centre retail plaza, less than one kilometre from Tesla’s recently opened London Service Center.

This Supercharger supports up to 250 kW per stall and operates 24/7. Tesla has implemented time-of-use pricing, giving owners lower rates during off-peak hours. Charging costs range from CA$0.31/kWh overnight to CA$0.45/kWh during daytime peak hours. Non-Tesla drivers using an adapter will pay between CA$0.44 and CA$0.63/kWh, depending on the time of day.

London’s Supercharger was briefly listed as a “coming soon” site on Tesla’s network map in 2024 before disappearing earlier this year. Construction started in May 2025, and the large stall count makes it one of the more significant charging sites in southwestern Ontario.

The Grand Prairie and London sites are part of Tesla’s broader Canadian buildout, which includes more than 50 new Supercharger stations and 630 stalls slated for 2025. By adding capacity in both rural northern corridors and dense urban markets, Tesla is strengthening Canada’s EV infrastructure while providing critical support for interprovincial travel.
