We’ve seen Tesla’s Cybertruck inspire everything from silly mashed potato creations to awesome Cybertruck go-kart hybrids. Now you can get your hands on a pretty neat looking watch from Anicorn Watches, whose design was inspired by “Tesla’s Cybertruck and its memes”.
Coming out of the Anicorn LAB, they will be creating a limited edition ‘non-bulletproof’ watch, billed as the “first conceptual digital timepiece designed by Anicorn.” The Cybertruck inspired design aspects are not hard to miss, featuring sharp angular lines and a stainless steel finish.
There’s obviously the cracked glass as well, a hat tip to Franz’s incredible strength on the night of the unveiling.
The watch will also feature a non-conventional time reading format, with time presented in a vertical instead of horizontal manner. It is also equipped with a capacitive touch function, which when tapped will trigger the red light interface and reveal the time and date.
If you don’t like the cracked glass, you can go with the ‘Normal Edition’, which has all the same specs, but does not feature the broken glass. Some additional specs are below.
- Movement: LCD w/ Backlight
- Bracelet: Width 20mm, Stainless Steel
- Case: 316L Stainless Steel
- Time Display: 24 Hours
- Functions: Time, Date, Backlight
- Waterproof: 3ATM
- Battery Life: 1 year
Anicorn’s goal is to get at least 50 people to preorder the watch at $250 USD ($325 CAD). Once 50 preorders have been reached, the watch will go into production, with an expected release date of Q3 2020. Click here to place your preorder.
If you want the actual Cybertruck, you can still place your preorder for $150, with an expected release date of 2021.
