FSD Beta 10.9 gets earlier than expected release

Earlier today Tesla CEO Elon Musk told FSD Beta testers to expect the next version, 10.9, to be released later this week.

The timeline came after the release notes leaked over the weekend when it was deployed to employee cars for validation.

In what is hopefully a good sign for the impending release in Canada, 10.9 has been released much earlier than expected with many testers receiving the 2021.44.30.10 update Monday afternoon.

The release notes, as shared by Canadian and California resident James Locke (@arctechinc), are the same as what was seen on the weekend.

We have yet to see confirmation that this release also comes with the new map update, 2021.44-13555.

According to some early tests, the new version displayed some noticeable improvements over the previous version.

Here are two videos already uploaded by Locke.
