Xpeng P5 European pricing and specs announced

Xpeng has finally announced the Xpeng P5 sedan prices and specs for their European launch.

The company is launching the P5 in Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden. While, Norway will get the P5 later in the Spring.

The pricing is as follows:

  • The Netherlands- 48,000 Euros
  • Denmark- 390,000 Danish Krone
  • Sweden- 550,000 Swedish Krona
  • Norway- 380,000 Norwegian Krone

Xpeng requires a deposit of 100 Euros or the equivalent in the other markets’ currency. This deposit is necessary to secure a reservation for the car.

Unlike their Chinese vehicles, Xpeng is not providing several trims or options to the European market.

The European P5 comes with a 66 kWh battery pack with a range of 465 km. By the looks of it, neither the small or larger battery pack available in China will be coming to Europe.

As well, the only option is the Deluxe package with 18-inch wheels and an optional eight-speaker audio system. In terms of colour, customers have the choice of three shades of grey.

Finally, the P5 in Europe will not have LiDAR and instead will rely on radar, ultrasonic sensors and cameras to provide its semi-autonomous driving features.

Xpeng did not provide a date or timeline on when the first Xpeng P5’s will make their way to Europe.
