West Kelowna Tesla Supercharger now open [British Columbia]

Five months after construction first began, Tesla has flipped the switch and the West Kelowna Supercharger is now open.

Located at the Okanagan Lake Shopping Centre Xtreme Theaters at 525 Highway 97 South, the new Supercharger features 8 V3 stalls, capable of charging at speeds up to 250kW. The site was turned on today and now appears on Tesla’s in-car navigation.

The discovery of the Supercharger under construction in November was a surprise as it wasn’t listed on Tesla’s map as an upcoming location.

It adds to the existing 8 stall Supercharger on the eastern side of Okanagan Lake, located about 30 minutes away at 2402 Hwy 97 N.

Another V3 Supercharger in British Columbia just started construction in North Vancouver.
