Tesla’s 0% Model 3/Y financing in the US ends December 15

Tesla has announced their 0% financing offer for the Model 3 and Model Y in the United States is set to end on December 15, 2024.

In a post announcing the deadline for the deal on X, Tesla said customers must take delivery by December 31, giving those who place orders by December 15 a reasonable window for delivery during the busy holiday season.

First introduced in October, and only with the purchase of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) package, the offer was later expanded and now comes with no strings attached, unlike the deal in Canada which has been given no similar cutoff date for orders.

Don’t forget to use a referral code to also take C$2,600/US$2,000 off the purchase price, lowering your monthly payments even further.

In order to get 0% financing in Canada, buyers need to purchase Full Self-Driving (FSD), which adds another C$11,000 to the purchase price. In addition, the 0% financing is only available on 36 or 48-month terms, two of the least popular term lengths.

Low interest rates are still available for longer terms, from 0.99% for 60 and 72 months, to 1.99% for 84 months, and 2.99% 96-month terms. These are still significantly lower than current posted interest rates that range from 5.36% to 5.46%.

This offer, along with others currently available, like free FSD transfers, free Supercharging, and doubled referral discounts and rewards, have been introduced in the final quarter to help push Tesla to record deliveries. The company needs to deliver at least 515,000 vehicles globally in the final quarter of 2024 to surpass last year’s total of 1,808,581 vehicles.

Achieving this milestone would mark the company’s first quarter delivering more than 500,000 units. While ambitious, Tesla appears on track to meet this goal with a strong push also coming from China.
