Tesla last week crushed Wall Street estimates by announcing deliveries of over 90,000 vehicles, despite the Fremont factory being shut down for two months during the quarter due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The number of deliveries is just one piece of the puzzle in determining if Tesla was able to post a fourth straight profitable quarter.
Tesla has now announced we get to learn the second piece of the puzzle on July 22, 2020.
The automaker will first post the Q2 2020 Update Letter on Tesla’s Investor Relations website after markets close on July 22.
Then at 2:30pm PST (5:30pm EST), Tesla will hold a live webcast to discuss the financial results in more detail, as well as have a live Q&A session afterwards.
This will be a big quarter for Tesla. If they are able to post a profitable quarter, it will be the fourth quarter in a row for the automaker, putting them in line for inclusion into the S&P 500.
