After announcing a record number of deliveries in the first quarter of 2020, Tesla will announce the important financial results later this month.
The automaker announced Wednesday that it will post its first quarter financial results after markets close on Wednesday, April 29th. At 3:30pm PST, Tesla will hold a live question and answer webcast to discuss the results and outlook for the remainder of the year.
The first quarter was a tough one for all automakers as the coronavirus outbreak shut down factories and slowed sales. Despite that, Tesla posted a record 88,400 vehicles delivered in the quarter.
Analysts polled so far expect Tesla to post an adjusted loss of 25 cents per share on sales of $6.2 billion (via MarketWatch). In Q1 2019, Tesla reported a loss of $4.10 per share on sales of $4.5 billion, with a net loss of $702 million.
