Tesla’s Cybertruck has an eye-catching massive windshield wiper that owners have complained leaves streaks on the massive front glass. However, the automaker has released a software update to address the problem.

As posted by Wes Morrill, Tesla’s Cybertruck program Lead Engineer, on X, the latest software update for the electric truck will enhance the residue removal mechanism. Morrill’s post was a response to a complaint from a Cybertruck owner. The fix is part of the 2025.2.8 update, which has already started going over the air and will see wider availability soon.
It is interesting that Tesla can fix the problem with a software update. However, the company is working on another issue: stimulating demand for the Cybertruck. It has tried deeper discounts, referrals, free wraps, and lower leases.
