Tesla has officially released Full Self-Driving (FSD) version 13.2.1, included in the software update 2024.39.15. This update is mostly a bug fix from v13.2 for owners of Model S3XY, which has rolled out to more owners with this release, but it also marks the first time FSD v13 has appeared in Canada, as well as on the Cybertruck.
The software update first began rolling out on Sunday afternoon, but according to the release notes, the Cybertruck is missing one of the new features compared to the rest of the fleet.
That is the ability to initiate FSD from Park. First released in v13.2, this feature allows drivers to select a destination, tap, and hold a “Start FSD” button, after which the system will engage, shift out of Park, and move into Drive or Reverse as needed to begin the journey.
While that feature is missing, the Cybertruck on FSD can still shift between Reverse, Drive, and Park as required. This capability means FSD can perform maneuvers such as three-point turns autonomously. Additionally, upon reaching a destination, FSD will search for an open parking spot if one is nearby.
Based on early testing, FSD v13.2.1 is just as impressive as v13.2, demonstrating more natural driving behaviours, and able to complete lengthy drives from parking spot to parking spot without an intervention.
For Canadian Tesla owners, this release is noteworthy as FSD v13 is also rolling out north of the border. Typically Canadian customers receive FSD updates later than our counterparts in the US, but with this rollout, Tesla is delivering this latest version of FSD to Canadian owners early in the release schedule.

However, it is not all good news, as FSD v13.2.1 is still limited cars with the latest HW4/AI4 computers, and there is still no indication of when Tesla will be releasing this version for cars equipped with the older HW3/AI3 computers.
Here are some early impressions of FSD v13.2.1.

Summary
I approached my first drives with FSD v13.2.1 with pretty high expectations, especially after logging over 2,000 miles with FSD v12.5.6.4, which only had two disengagements. Tonight, I drove about 70 miles with the new version, and I… pic.twitter.com/wHvCms7Oyp

Here’s the first drive video with FSD v13.2.1. 31 mins from parking lot to parking spot with ZERO disengagements or interventions. I can’t believe how smooth it is- it’s incredible.
