Tesla Owner Logs 10,000+ Consecutive Miles on FSD Without a Single Intervention

Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) software has just hit one of its most significant real-world benchmarks yet, as one owner has surpassed 10,000 consecutive miles (16,093 km) of driving on FSD v14.2 without a single intervention or disengagement.

The milestone was reached early on December 30, 2025 by David Moss, and includes every aspect of real-world driving—from highways and city streets to parking maneuvers and Supercharger stops. Moss accomplished the feat in his 2025 Tesla Model 3 Premium Long Range RWD, traveling through 24 U.S. states over the past month with FSD v14.2 handling all driving tasks.

What sets this milestone apart from anecdotal claims is verification. Moss’s driving data has been independently confirmed through the FSD Database, a community-run platform that tracks real-world FSD performance using vehicle telemetry, allowing third parties to verify intervention-free driving streaks down to the tenth of a mile.

While 10,000 miles is remarkable, Moss isn’t stopping there. As of today, he is currently in Alabama, with his final destination, Florida, in sight. Moss is hoping to complete the entire trip on FSD, without a single intervention. If completed, it would mark a first for Tesla’s autonomy program and further reinforce the capabilities of FSD v14.

While Tesla has long published aggregate safety statistics, real-world, end-to-end demonstrations like this carry significant weight. A single driver completing 10,000 miles across varied conditions—traffic, weather, urban cores, highways, charging stops, and parking—provides a compelling data point that autonomy is rapidly approaching everyday usability.

Although Tesla still classifies FSD as Supervised, Moss’s achievement highlights just how far the system has advanced, especially with the v14 architecture focusing on end-to-end neural networks and human-like decision making.
