Tesla has opened its Spring 2025 Supercharger voting round, inviting owners to help decide where the company will build its next Supercharging stations. With the opening of a new round of voting, the Q1 2025 results have also been announced, and unfortunately none of the winning locations are in Canada.
Q1 2025 Supercharger Voting Winners
According to the Tesla Charging account on X, the Q1 winners include a global mix of sites, with seven selected in the United States and six across Europe, Asia, and Australia. The full list of new additions includes:
- Namyangju – Dasan, South Korea
- Nicholls, Australia
- Wrocław, Poland
- Bari, Italy
- Hradec Králové, Czech Republic
- Bournemouth, United Kingdom
- Clarksville, TN
- Roswell, NM
- Long Beach, CA
- McAlester, OK
- Lake Wales, FL
- Decatur, IL
- Henderson, NV
While no Canadian locations received enough votes this time, Canada has had notable success in previous Supercharger voting cycles. In late 2023 and throughout 2024, a number of Canadian sites have been selected through community-driven voting, with Quebec often dominating the leaderboard. In fact, Canada took all of the winning spots in the Fall 2023 round of voting, with sites selected in Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia.
Late last year, Tesla started construction on Canada’s first Supercharger voting vinner in Saint-Sauveur, Quebec.
Spring 2025 Supercharger Voting
Now, the Spring 2025 voting cycle gives Canadians another chance to push for new Supercharger sites. However, there aren’t many included this round, with just ten Canadian locations on the ballot:
- Duncan, BC
- Burnaby, BC
- Tobermory, ON
- North York, ON
- Toronto East, ON
- Mont-Laurier, QC
- Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
- Montreal North, QC
- Trois-Rivières, QC
- Halifax, NS
As you can see, the current selection favors Eastern Canada, with only Duncan and Burnaby representing the only nominees in the western part of the country this time.
How To Vote For Superchargers
Tesla’s Supercharging voting system allows participants to cast multiple votes each quarter and even suggest new sites. According to Tesla, these votes directly impact Supercharger deployment decisions, especially in regions where demand is high but infrastructure is still limited.
Voting is now open and available at tesla.com/en_ca/supercharger-voting.
