Tesla opens 100th Supercharger site in Australia

Tesla has reached a significant milestone in Australia, with the company opening up its 100th Supercharger site in the country. The milestone station opened this week 10 years after the first station opened back in Australia in 2014.

The opening of the site was announced through a post from the official Tesla Australia & New Zealand account on X, showcasing a Supercharger finished in green and gold, Australia’s national colours.

The 100th Supercharger is not located on a beach however. It is actually located at a shopping center in Glenelg, South Australia. It is a 6-stall V3 station, with only one of the stalls finished in green and gold.

This isn’t the first commemorative Supercharger Tesla has designed and deployed, having done so in a number of other countries around the world. The most recent was in Finland, where

Tesla marked the 250th Supercharger in that country with the Finnish flag.

The next commemorative Supercharger to open will be in Chile, where Tesla will be opening the first Supercharger station in South America later this month.

Unfortunately there are no commemorative Superchargers in Canada. The perfect opportunity to install one would have been earlier this year when the 32 stall Mississauga Supercharger opened, with Canada’s 2,000th Supercharger stall.
