Tesla is rolling out two new offers for the Cybertruck, making it more appealing for potential buyers in Canada and the U.S. The company has reduced lease pricing for the Cybertruck AWD in the U.S., while also offering a free XPEL wrap for those purchasing a Foundation Series Cybertruck in Canada and the U.S.
Free XPEL Wrap for Foundation Series Cybertruck Buyers
Tesla is now providing a free XPEL wrap for customers who purchase a Foundation Series Cybertruck in North America. This promotion applies to orders placed on or after February 1, 2025, with delivery required by March 31, 2025.
Eligible buyers will receive a voucher for the wrap within 14 days of taking delivery. The wrap installation must be coordinated directly with XPEL at one of their 125+ authorized installer locations across North America. Customers must redeem the voucher by June 30, 2025, or it will expire.
Tesla does not offer their in-house wraps in Canada, but in the U.S. they cost $4,500, so this offer is likely worth around that much, if not a little more.
Lower Lease Pricing for the Cybertruck AWD
Additionally, Tesla has cut the lease price for the Cybertruck AWD, bringing it down from $899 per month to just $749 per month—nearly a 20% decrease.
In addition to the lower monthly payments, the Cybertruck AWD remains eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, further reducing the overall cost for lessees.
Tesla’s Strategy: Boosting Cybertruck Demand
These promotions suggest Tesla is actively working to boost demand and increase sales of the Cybertruck, in particular the Foundation Series. Tesla stopped producing the Foundation Series in October last year, but still has thousands of units left to sell.
In Canada, Foundation Series deliveries only started late late last year, but demand for the electric truck has waned, as there are only so many people willing to pay close to $200,000 for the Cybertruck.
Last month Tesla added Foundation Series Cybertrucks to their existing inventory website in Canada for the first time. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of Cybertrucks across Canada available for immediate delivery.
