Tesla has expanded into a new country in the Middle East, with the automaker launching sales in Qatar. Along with launching sales, the company is also planning to support new owners with Superchargers and a Service Center in the country in the coming months.
Late last week the Tesla Europe & Middle East account posted a teaser on X, sharing a video of a Model Y and Model S driving through a desert with the caption, “ to be continued.” Today the company followed that up with an announcement that it is opening its online Design Studio in Qatar, where customers can now place orders for the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y.

According to the online configurator, all variants of each model are available to order, including the upgraded Model 3 from Giga Shanghai. Deliveries are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2024.
Along with deliveries starting in Q1, Tesla will also open a pop-up store at Doha Festival City where prospective customers will be able to see the vehicles in person and schedule Demo Drives. Tesla says it will also open a Showroom and Service Center in Doha in Q1.
Tesla will also open its first Supercharger in Qatar. Slated to open in January, the Doha Supercharger will feature 12 V3 stalls, delivering up to 250kW of power.
