Tesla launches global “TeslaVision” video contest with Model Y and Giga Texas tour as prizes

Tesla has announced the return of its popular fan video contest with the launch of the 2025 TeslaVision Fan Video Showcase. The first contest was held in 2017, and is making a comeback eight years later to celebrate the global rollout of the new Model Y, now available across everywhere Tesla operates.

This year’s competition invites Tesla owners and supporters from around the world to create and share short videos showing how Tesla vehicles provide “more” in their lives—more freedom, more safety, more fun, and more convenience. Entrants are encouraged to focus on personal stories and original content that highlights the transformative role Tesla plays in everyday life.

How to Enter the TeslaVision Contest

To participate, fans must create a video that’s 90 seconds or less and upload it to YouTube. From there, they need to share the video on both X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, tag @Tesla (or the specific Tesla account for your region outside North America), and include the phrase “TeslaVision contest” in their posts.

Finally, participants must submit their video by July 17, 2025.

Tesla notes that the contest is open to both owners and general supporters of the brand. Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, relevance, and entertainment value.

TeslaVision Contest Prizes

The grand prize winner in Canada and the United States will receive a Tesla Model Y along with an all-expenses-paid trip to Gigafactory Texas, where they’ll be treated to a private tour of the facility. The second and third place winners will also be awarded a trip to the Texas factory for a private tour.

Prizes in other regions vary, from Tesla Shop Credits to extended Model Y demo drives, and in some countries Optimus action figures.

Fans interesting in participating can find full details for their country and submission guidelines on Tesla’s official website.
