If you missed out on redeeming referral credits for an invitation to the Cybertruck Delivery Event on November 30 at Giga Texas, Tesla is giving shareholders another opportunity to attend with a new lottery.
The new lottery was announced by Tesla’s Head of Investor Relations, Martin Viecha on Friday. According to the details of the program on the Cybertruck Delivery Event website, shareholders must submit information to Tesla to verify they were a shareholder as of September 30, 2023. This verification happens on the same shareholder platform that launched last year, so if you have already submitting your information you do not need to do it again.
There have been some issues with this platform, in which shareholders who submitted their information last year have yet to be verified by Tesla. This was the case with our account (although it has now changed to “preliminarily verified”), however Viecha confirmed with Drive Tesla that the status listed on the dashboard does not matter, everyone is still eligible and verification will take place after the draw.

Once you have submitted this information, or if you are already verified (or another status), all you have to do is simply click on one button and you’re entered.
The deadline to enter is 11:59 PM CDT on November 3, 2023. Soon after Tesla will hold a random draw to select the winners, and they expect to begin notifying them starting on or around November 6.
If you are one of the lucky few that redeemed 30,000 referral credits for an invitation, there is still no new information for you on when you will actually receive it. Hopefully that information will come around the same time they start notifying the lottery winners.
