Tesla China offers free Enhanced Autopilot trial for one month

In an attempt to increase Full Self-Driving (FSD) adoption rates, Tesla has launched a new Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) offer in China.

To coincide with the country’s unofficial double 11 holiday, Tesla is offering a free trial of EAP to owners for a 30-day period.

According to a flyer promoting the trial, all Model 3 and Model Y owners who have taken delivery prior to November 11, 2021 will be able to take advantage of the offer.

EAP offers all of the same features of FSD, with the exception of Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control (TLSSC) for about half the price of FSD.

The suite of features is no longer available in North America, but it was added to the Chinese Design Studio in February of this year.

Tesla also offered a trial of EAP in China earlier this year.

FSD adoption rate in China are much lower than North America, which at last count is only around 1-2% compared to estimates of anywhere between 10% to 15%  in Canada and the US.
