The Tesla Cybertruck has officially joined the Vegas Loop fleet, becoming the newest vehicle to ferry passengers through the Boring Company’s growing network of underground tunnels beneath the Las Vegas Strip.
On Tuesday the Cybertruck was spotted at the Boring Company’s Vegas Loop, the first time the stainless-steel pickup has been used in the underground transportation system.

The Cybertruck was first seen in the Vegas Loop in late 2023 shortly after the first deliveries took place, but the electric pickup truck needed to be approved for use in the underground tunnels by Clark County before it could start hauling passengers.
The approval now appears to be in place, allowing the all-electric pickup to join passenger service.
The move to add the Cybertruck comes shortly after Tesla began enabling Full Self-Driving (Supervised) within the Vegas Loop, a controlled environment ideal for testing the next generation of autonomy. The tunnels’ predictable routes, low speeds, and lack of external variables make them a perfect proving ground for Tesla’s self-driving software as it transitions from public road testing to real-world passenger use.
Tesla’s long-term vision for the Vegas Loop is a fully autonomous, zero-emission transportation system that connects major destinations throughout Las Vegas, including the Convention Center, Resorts World, Allegiant Stadium, and eventually Harry Reid International Airport.
The system already handles thousands of passengers daily and continues to expand, with additional tunnels under construction.
