Smart Summon was released in the US and other markets a few weeks ago when the V10 software update was released. Unfortunately Canada didn’t get it due to stricter regulations (but did get an Enhanced Summon range boost), but on Twitter Tesla CEO Elon Musk hinted last week that it could be coming soon. Now that day has arrived, as Smart Summon has officially started rolling out to owners in Canada.
Lucky Tesla owners have started receiving the latest software update overnight, waking up to Smart Summon on their vehicles. Version 2019.32.12.2 contains the much anticipated feature, so be on the lookout for it.
Please remember to use it responsibly and in a safe controlled environment to get comfortable with it, before using it in public. Now go out and enjoy Smart Summon Canada, and let’s see some videos of it in action!
